Movies

Hi Jeff and I rented some movies Saturday night and we got a newe one we hadnt seen before and didnt know what it was going to be like. Ok I like a good scary movie once in a while but not gory. Yuckie.

Well we didnt finish it or even get through 20 minutes of it before we decided it wasnt for us. It was called Pitch Black and it started out weird and it ended up being gory when we shut it off. We got the last three Star Wars. I mean the original three. I own the first three that just came out. I would love to have the original three to complete the set.

Any one hear of them making another three to finish the series off completely? I know there are three more books but any idea's if they are going to make movies out of them?

Then we also got Space Invaders and it was an ok movie for being made in the 80's sometime. The girls liked it. I have noticed with them watching movies they act out what they have seen. Its actually quite cute.

Then the girls got a movie for themselves. They got the Aristocrats. Cute movie. Not all as it seemed to be cracked up to be though while watching The Lion King previews. LOL...

I am going to go get the tree here in a bit and get that put up and then my bulbs on the tree and then going to start thinking of X-mas projects for the girls to do for the tree. Then hang the Garland on the door ways. I guess I am in the mood slightly. Its been rough to get in the mood lately.

Well anyway post number two for today so I will leave this as is and catch you all later. N.

Great, I am happy that you are going to put up that tree! In Europe we don't put our tree up so early, not before beginning of december the earliest. However this year I think I am going to put up mine this coming saturday, we have invited our old uncles and aunties for lunch on Sunday, we will start the holiday mood.

Our family tradition was always to put up the Christmas tree on Dec. 10. That's my birthday, so it always made a good reminder. Plus, my mom always hated the holidays.

It's good that you're going to put it up. Dan and I have had a rough couple of Christmases, but we always find our way out of 'humbugness' and make the best of the holiday.

I loved Pitch Black, mostly because I'm a fan of Vin Diesel! :P

Kitem when I was a kid we used to put up our tree on Thanksgiving morning and then head off to grandma's house for dinner and then go home and decorate it. LOL.. It was a fun time really.

Courtney that is a good date to put up the tree. At least they remembered that way. We are in the Humbug mood this year because not a lot of money this year. I wasnt going to put up this stuff this year.

We're putting up the tree this week, too. (Probably tonight, but I won't decorate til tomorrow since Richard's working this evening.)

I like The Aristocats! And the cartoon 101 Dalmations. And Lady & the Tramp. They're so cute.

I think I saw part of that very same movie on TV the other night, Pitch Black. We get a horror channel as part of our package, and it's gross...

I really can't stand gory movies - or scary ones. Only happy, happy, happy movies for me! lol.

We are waiting a couple of weeks to get our tree up. We usually do it 2 weeks before Christmas. We always get a real tree and I'm afraid it'll be too much of a fire hazard if we have it up too long.

Glad to hear you're getting the decorations up. It sucks being short on money - it really does. The girlies don't care, though. They really have no idea!

I love scary movies - but I can do without the gore too. That's taking it too far. A little vampire gore I can take - but I walked out on Saw when I went to see it. Lately the dang anxiety won't even let me watch mild scary movies! Well, maybe Goosebump movies.

I bet the girls would love Ratatoullie.

Monica I have never been up to gory movies but I do like, Scream. We have Scream 1 some where up on the shelf.

Gardenia never heard of that one. Maybe I will check that one out next time I got to the movie store.

I can't do horror and gore movies. There is too much of that in the news and real life.

I like a silly, or good action movie to pass the time.
