New Craft...

Hi all. My MIL showed me how to do these. Are you sick of the question Paper or Plastic at the grocery store?? Well here is a home made grocery bag. I am asking 15 dollars a bag. I have one made but can make more and planning on it. will post them as I get them done.

We don't get asked if we want paper bags at stores here in the UK, but over the years I have collected a vast amount of plastic bags, which I am now recycling for every shopping trip.

Until they all give up the ghost, I won't be needing one of your splendid bags, but I will congratulate you on a great idea! The less plastic around, the better.

What a wonderful idea!!!!! I have all kinds of bags - I'm a bag freak, love them, but keep forgetting to take them to the store with me!

have you got an ebay account? if so, you might start a store there to sell items like this. or even just auction it off too. that might give you an idea of the market for it.

It is a great idea for people who shop often. We live so far out in the country that we don't shop small. We would need about twenty of those for one of our shopping trips. Since I crochet I know it takes a bit of time to do one of those. Do you sew? You could whip them up a bit faster if you made them out of canvas, and you could personalize them with by sewing on some crocheted trim. An e-bay account would be a great idea.

I don't have a new post up. Just thought I'd drop by. :)

That's bee-yoo-tee-ful! Way better than the drab, flimsy grocery bags they sell at some places. We have a lot of those.
