Now I am Pissed Off.

Hey all. I am on my way to bed. I just wanted to tell you all that I have been written up because I was the one collecting for a few hours last night meaning Friday night in First Booth with a girl I work with. Well she had been collecting too and the damned drawer was 19.40 short. Someone put two tens under the drawer and I have made it apparent that I dont do that anymore. I always double check my dollars to make sure I have a ten, twenty or anything else..

Well Friday night S went to the Bathroom and the manager sent her side kick to check S's coat to see if she took her Cell Phone to the Bathroom with her. I told S this and she said she was going to talk to the morning management and then afte I left she told everyone that i was narking on them.

The little bitch better watch her step Monday night when I go back in because she is going to get an Ass Chewing she has never gotten before. She didnt come in tonight and I think she is done. She was on a 90 day probation because she fucked up so bad a few months ago. The only way she gets away with not coming in is with a dr's excuse. Well all I have to say about it is that I am a very pissed off Bitch.

I am on my way to bed now. I just had to get that out and about. I will not quit my job because you all are right about one thing. There arent many jobs out there. But I just hope to God that she is fired soon and I dont lose my job because of her.

I am doing well and the manager seems to like me except for the fill in manager on the two days our normal manager has off... Anyway Good night and dont the bed bugs bite.. i am going nighty night now. Take care and hugs..

Sorry to hear. It's unfortunate for sure to get written up for something that wasn't your doing. It doesn't seem quite right considering you were sharing a till. I hope that was in the report as well.

Sharing a till is bad policy. SME quit working at Hardees because of that. Her till ALWAYS balanced...except when she worked with one person, who was the manager's sister. Guess who always got written up for the short till?

I agree, sharing a cash drawer is great temptation for a thief.

My Nephew was fired from a 6 year job because the person who watched his till when he took a restroom break stole $50

I waitressed many years ago when I was teen. Money started coming up missing from the till. Because my boyfriend had long hair the boss figured I had something to do with it.

By the time she lost the business we all realized it was her alcoholic husband who was stealing.

Because I'm very honest and would never steal it took me a long time to get over that. Now I can look back and forgive her and feel compassion. She was married to the asshole who brought their business down. All I had to do was find another job.

I can completely understand your indignation. Just keep trying to take the high road. Keep your head up and know that you're doing the right thing.

Oh, tweety, what a zoo. Don't let it eat you up, that's easier said than done, I know. Like tshsmom, I went through that closing a register for a while, when they assigned this kid to do - we were supposed to share - I did the computer part, he counted, little did I know he had some pretty odd ways in making the drawer balance and the figures he gave me were not exact - of course it was my fault! The kid did get canned through. But sometimes a person is just between a rock and a hard spot - I couldn't say anything about him, because the boss had hired him out of a bank, and was friends with his mom! Later I heard how glad the bank was to get rid of him!

Sharing a cash draw!!! Never ... it leaves you open to all sorts of finger picking ... I surly hope Monday night is better and maybe as you said she is done.

I can't understand why you would stay on that job. I've never heard of anyone having as much trouble on a job as you are.
As one friend to another, there has to be a job out there somewhere better than that one. You're going to be a nervous wreck before this is over. Why don't you look around in your spare time. It's not as if you'd need to give two weeks notice if you found something else. Try some temp agencies. Good luck.

I agree with CA....This job sounds so stressful...I would hope there is something else out there, too--Though these are tough times. Good Luck with all of it.

Any business that would require you to share a till and then write only one person up for it being short is bad. Bad management, and I think that is something that I would have no problem telling a manager who attempted to write me up.

Another option that you have is to schedule a talk with the manager who is giving you problems. Ask them what is their problem with you? Insist in the future on NEVER sharing your till. Ever. Talk to them professionally, in a private meeting, with no interruptions.
