Busy

Hey all I have been busy here. Taking care of my family and working. Its a rough situation to get used to like Grizzly Mama has told me.. LOL.. I am tired but wanted to get a quick post in and I promise to visit on Monday on my day off. I work tomorrow night from 8-2 and then Monday off and then Tuesday and have Wednesday and Thursday off and then Friday and Saturday again. I am getting about 25 hours a week. Well its better than nothing right now so I am not complaining. I took my first order with the head set on last night. Yayy for me. Thankfully it was an easy order. Still having some troubles with the menu but getting better.

We took the girls to the park today and I was sitting there relaxing and swinging on this swing they have for adults and I almost fell asleep swinging. Then I come home from work and the cat acts like I have been gone for 3 years on her. She just gets clinging. Tonight Bri told me she prefers daddy to me and that hurt really. She kept asking when I was leaving and she told me she wanted to work on the puzzles and she wanted daddy time. But I know its a 4 year old thing.

Life is better here. I got my first paycheck yesterday. The boss said the 31st but she made a mistake. OOPS... LOL.. Ok so I got paid for one week instead of two but it felt nice to have about a 150 dollars. for one week.

Anyway enough of that. I need to get to bed. I will catch you all Monday sometime. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. Its suppose to be beautiful here but I wont feel like doing much tomorrow. Maybe watching the girls swim in our pool. So to all a good night and good nights rest... LOL.. N....

I wonder if your little one is trying to reassure you that she really is okay with you gone more than she's used to. My husband has had to take the helm at the home front in the past - and he has to now on his days off. It is really good for the girls and for him to have that time with each other. I think a lot of fathers would like more time with their kids.

This is really working out great for you guys! Now that you've got your first paycheck, I can work up a better budget for you. I'll get to that sometime in the next week or so. We've got a LOT going on this week.

It's normal for little girls to say they love Daddy more at this age. Be happy that the girls love the man you chose to be their Daddy as much as you love him.

Yahoo first pay!!! Very glad that things are getting better for you, Tweety. Way to go!

My Cara was always a Daddy's girl which I thought was just so cute. I loved my Dad more too. But we are very close now - she's still got Daddy wrapped around her finger though.

I'm sure it will be quite an adjustment for everyone with the job yet the extra money will surely be worth it - especially when there is no sitter to pay.

Kids say the darndest things, Tweety. They don't have any idea at that age that they have the power to hurt anyone's feelings. When my daughter was four our next door neighbor moved and my daughter asked if she could go with her! LOL! It's because she had two daughters my daughter's age and she was going to miss her friends and although I knew that, it still hurt my feelings.

Keep up the good work. Are you sure you want more hours at work? Sounds like this is pretty tiring enough. :)

I'm glad the job is going well. I know i haven't been commenting much lately, mostly because I read late at night, while working, and I'm never too sure if I make sense at night. But I still visit, I still read, and am always glad to hear you're doing well.

Grizzly Mama she might be. I hope that is it. Jeff and I have three nights together this week so it helped alot.

MOM yes I realize that. It just took me by suprise when she kept asking last week when I was leaving. and dont worry about the budget plan as much as you need to work on you right now. You worry more about L right now than me.

BJ yes they are. Things are looking up for us.

Jeannie it sure is helping lots. I mean I know I just got my first check but we got to make a credit card payment with it. It really helped.

Gayle just commenting that I am going from 25-35 hours a week. Because last week I had 35 hours a week and then this week I only have about 25. So its between the two.

Jay Hi there. I know how it feels to work nights and I miss the comments and understand where you are coming from. I have been reading more at night when I come home too.

Your little one is only adjusting to you being gone more lately like Grizzly Mamma said. It's hard on them - they like moms at home - all kids! I wish you didn't have to work, but in ways it will be good for you and your family.

Pets get more attached to us than us to them sometimes I think!

I bet you are tired - those are crazy hours - !

Gardenia so true. Snowie is so cute though. She loves to sit with me for a few minutes when I come in the morning.
