Hi all.I have some great great great news... Our usual over night manager wasnt at work last night because she called in sick. Well the closing manager had me in First booth by myself before I took my break and she was there till four this morning. So when I came back from break I asked her where she wanted me and she said First Booth. Well I kept up until we got out to the road and then I needed a little help. So one of the other girls took orders while I collected.
I was so proud of myself for keeping up and not getting fustrated. Yayy for me. This is what I needed was the challenge. But I know I wont be back there again anytime soon with our usual manager. I am her star pupil on the back line and not up front with her and learning where I can be her star pupil in every aspect of the job. But sometimes I think it pisses her off still that I am learning and getting better at the headsets and doing the cash register..
Life takes us in so many different ways. I wasnt going to post today but I had to tell you all how happy I am of myself. Jeff left to go to Neenah WI for a few hours. John and Jeff and found a new chess club to check out for a while so they went to do that and I stayed home. Its snowing and blowing and I didnt feel like going out yet today. I have to go to work tonight and deal with the weather then. Yuckie.
I feel so damned tired today but have a few things I want to get done before I have to go to work tonight. I need to go find some thing to eat. I havent eaten yet. I fed my hubby and kids but I didnt feel like pancakes and sausage.. Well I am off to find some food. talk to you all soon. Hope all is well with my dear dear friends on blogland.. Take care N..
Update.. I was in first booth again last night all night by myself but needed help when we went back out to the road but kept up till then. I didnt make any mistakes last night.. I am in fisrt booth again tonight because R isnt there. She is really sick though. I have heard she is sicker than she wants any of us to know. I was also told that the more you know the more you get paid. I dont know how true that is.. but that is the update for now.I have to leave here in ten minutes to go let the neighbors dogs out for her because she's not home. She went out of town for a day or so. N..

Nice! Drive-thru is tough. I felt like my head would spin right off my neck doing drive-thru when it was busy.
