Trip.

This maybe a long post.. LOL.. I am going to start on Monday and go through Friday for you.. With photo's in between. So bear with me.. Sit back and enjoy the ride or the reading..

Monday I finished up packing and then we packed up the car and did some more running that needed doing for the trip. Then I went to work and that was hell on wheels. I was not at work in mind but body I was there. At 2:15 AM the manager looks at me and says go on. I was suppose to be done at 3 but it was dead and she saw I was Antsy.. LOL.. Who me antsy NEVER!!!! ... Anyway it takes Jeff about half hour to come and get me with finishing putting some stuff in the trunk we didnt want to freeze and such. And getting the girls up and running. Warming the car up for me and them.. LOL.. Well we get to Minnesota and we go see my mom to tell her we are in town. Then go check into the motel and we laid down for about ten minutes and I decided I couldnt sleep and I got everyone back up and we ran for a while. We went to K-mart and while driving through the parking lot I saw Tshsmom.

I looked at Jeff and said that looks like Tshsmom and he asked if I was sure. I said I think so. And we drove up to where I thought it was her truck and got out and walked up to the truck. Well guess what it was Tshsmom and Z-Kid..

The girls got there quilts finally from my Godmother. Here are the photo's of them. This was funny because we went to see her Monday and she was saying she got up to Crochet one night and Bri's quilt scared the crap out of her. It was glowing. Bri's material glows. Its cool.

Kora's Quilt.

Wednesday we went to see if an old friend of Jeff's worked at a motel in town but he had quit shortly after starting there so we moved on.. We went and seen and old friend of my mothers and her son told me my packer jacket should be burned. I told him if he touched my jacket I was going to break his FUCKING FINGERS.. Excuse the language. Anyway moving on went to see an old friend of mines mom. She has never seen the girls so I thought she would enjoy it. You should have seen the look on her face when she walked through her door.. It was total amazement..

Then we went back to the motel and got a few things I forgot. Then Jeff took us to Tshsmom's house and we had a grand old time. Letting the girls eat cookies and having soda and then Tshsmom sat down with them and made one of there tree ornaments. Then sent the other one home with me. We are planning on doing them tomorrow. Here are some photo's from Tshsmoms house.

Hairy and girls in this one.. Yes I got a good photo of Hairy..

Kora and Tshsmom..

Then Thursday we left Minnesota and headed back to Wisconsin. A long ride. Then this lady wouldnt let us move over to make our turn because Jeff had moved over to pass some one and then we found out we had to move back over to turn.. We got to my dads house about 2:00 PM.. We checked into the motel and I called him and left a message. He called back half an hour later and then we went and visited and ate supper. He had a Pork roast waiting for us. We made Desert while waiting. He made this dessert that had whip cream, apples, grapes, rice, and banana's.. It was funny watching Jeff as I helped my dad chop fruit up.. LOL.. It was his facial expressions. Then he made for drinking this fruit punch.. It was good but strong. No acohol of course but still strong.

I just noticed I skipped Tuesday and I dont know where to put it in.. LOL.. I am disorganized this post.. Tuesday we spent running around town getting a few things we had forgotten at home..

Then Friday we left for Jeff's mothers house. We had a blast there to be honest. His mother showed me how to make home made scrunchies. I will post some of them when I am done with a few more. I am more than willing to sell them. I just need to know how many you want because they do take a couple of days for me to make. They are pretty neat though.. The girls got candy from Grandmas. His mothers partner got a kitten. She is beautiful. Her name is Lily.

Well there is most of our trip anyway.. The roads going were ok until we got about 40 miles out of Superior Wisconsin. Then they got real slick until we got into Minnesota and cleared again for the most part.

Enjoy and I am going to go make Jeff's lunch and then head to bed myself. I am exhausted. I worked tonight after having five days off. My feet hurt, my legs hurt,I hurt... LOL.. I will visit tomorrow if I have time. N...

PS the red one is mine I made and the other one is the one my MIL made.. Enjoy..

and the lady next to you, is she your mum? on another photo you look like your daddy.
Gosh, what a trip! you've seen so many persons in such a short time, no wonder you are tired when back to work, but I see that you've enjoyed yourself a lot, and that's very important, important for the girls too to see family, grand parents and friends.
Merry Christmas to you and family.

I'm happy to see that last picture because Bri finally has a smile on her face! Kora was all smiles the whole time. I think she was enjoying her adventure.

Jeannie, I'm usually the one taking the pictures, so everybody gets on my blog but me.

Bridg, ANY time sistah! The girls even left you some cookies. Do Alabama Slammers go well with cookies?

What a great trip, although it sounded a bit hectic at times! I think I gained a pound just reading about all the food and 'scrunchies involved! Merry Christmas!

LOL! Scrunchies aren't food, CA. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too, Tweetey! I'm so glad you returned safely and that all of you seem to have enjoyed yourselves tremendously. That's the first pic I've seen of tshsmom too.

Great job that was done on the quilts, by the way.

Got your card and the great photos of the girls - thanks!

The quilts are adorable!!

Looks like quite the trip. Leave it to Mom to give the girls lots of sugar while you were there! ;D
Z. really seems to have a knack with kids.

We had a quiet but good Christmas here. We opened presents, had some soup, then braved the cold to see the Christmas lights display at the Legislature.

It's not a sure thing yet, but next spring we'd like to head your way, see the folks, see Chicago again etc. It was such a good trip last time that we'd like to try it again, although probably without the kids this time. Aaron's working a lot these days and might be relocating to B.C. soon.

Anyway, hope you guys had the merriest Christmas! Please say hi to Kora and Bri for us.
