How I met Ruth

Hi there all. I have an answer to your question.. I met Ruth by doing this Pen Pal thing for Richard Brodsky. She helps run one of the Orphanages over in Uganda Africa. Some of you might have heard of Another Hope Childrens Minsitries. She is one of them. We have been e-mailing for the past year or so and I have found many of her Orphans pen pals here in the states.

She was to come visit her pen pal before me here in the states and her pen pal ended up dying a while back. So I whole heartedly opened up our home to a stranger. I am still not real sure what to do about it. But thanks for the advice. I am really thinking this thing through.

But she is sort of my pen pal. We have quite a bit in common actually. She crochets and wants to learn how to do these new scrunchies I am making that my MIL taught me. I am tired tonight. I am having a hard time staying awake. I am running on 6 hours of sleep from yesterday. I have today and tomorrow off again and then back to my regular scheduled programming.. LOL...

I hope every one had a great X-mas and I hope everyones New Year Rings in with success and peace and Joy.. Esp my good friend Helene with the new baby next month.. I finally sent out her box. She is going to love the two sweaters and bonnets I made baby and the blanket. Well I suppose. I need to get to bed but that is what is up with the Ruth situation and how we met for now.

Maybe I am to open hearted esp with stuff like this. But its bed time for me. Talk to you all soon. N...

PS Check out my crafting blog. The girls had me put some stuff on it they made... They are coool...

Still hoping you get things sorted out. Are you feeling better?

Hope it all works out well. This is a stressful time for most even without any added complications. I'm sure you'll all manage to get through intact.

I find that my friends that visit from abroad are shoocked to actually see the distances between places firsthand. They know in their mind that it's a huge country here, but the actual experiencing it is far different. This is especially true of those visiting the 'endless' stretches of straight road in the mid-west to western states.

Hope you feel better soon.
