Nothing Important...

Hi there all. I was just listening to the girls playing. Whose idea was it for us to home school?? LOL.. No really they aren't that bad. I love having them both home with me. It gives my day flavor really.

You know I am so proud of Kora. I have her reading a book she got for X-mas from a blog friend. Its a chapter book. She is on chapter 4 already. She reads it out loud in case she has troubles with the words and I can help her but she hasn't needed any help yet. I have read the book to both of them but now I am making her read the book on her own. She finished her math book early. That was my fault not realizing that I could have spread the math out a bit more. LOL.. Silly me. Oh well we are going to do review for the rest of the year and then I am thinking about showing her the basic multiplication table.

Sometimes they play so loudly and its raining out so I cant tell them to go play outside for a bit. I have noticed if they get there outside time they dont play as loudly in the house when they come in. I may see about shipping them outside for a bit here in a while. They need some air. So do I but not sure yet.I have laundry to do today. I was holding off till Monday but decided today is the best day to do it.

Life is a box of chocolates. Oh chocolates. I have a sweet tooth today. Maybe I will take some change and go get a chocolate bar from the gas station three houses down from our house.. Yummie. sounds good. LOL.. I am naughty with our change sometimes..

I am rambling again and I am sorry. I am going to have Jeff pull out the tent this weekend from under the pool and have to repack the tent where it will fit in its case easier than it is right now. I might even put it up to get the grass out of it from last summer or just might leave it. Not sure yet.. LOL.. I am so lookig forward to our trip. On the Road Again keeps popping into my head for some dang reason.

My real dad called yesterday and asked if Ham on the Grill would be ok. I said that should be fine. Ken tried it once but it didnt cook. It was raw and gross. But for some reason my real dad can cook things better than Ken can sometimes. Not all the time but sometimes.

Well I need to go start laundry. I will catch you all later. Tweets.

I'm glad I don't have chocolate bars 3 doors down!

Kids DO tend to be louder when they don't get a chance to run off some energy.

Hi Tweety!

Ham on the grill does sound good, but not raw of course. I think it would be difficult to cook it on the grill and get it done all the way through without burning it. I've never tried it.

Have a great weekend!

Kora is doing well at home school, that's very good, congratulation to her and her proud mommy-teacher.

Tweetey, your children sound really smart. You're lucky! Surveys have suggested that, as adults, smart children make more money than their less-smart counterparts.

I hope your laundry turned out good!

I enjoy your rambles. They're so honest and open.

I have a soft spot for chocolates. I'm turning into a chocolate snob though because there's a really good chocolate place right by my house (rated by Consumers Reports magazine as excellent, whereas someone like Sees Candies is average).

Glad to hear the home schooling is doing well. I am also very naughty when I stop at the petrol station I always buy one of those bounty bar with three small ones and I eat them on my way home from the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the third one does not last long after that... :)

Oh, chocolate - I'm on this diet that is lasting forever because I got way too up there - but I thought I found a box of them last night and I was ready to chow down and it must have been God's intervention - I pulled it out of the sack and it was a small package of note cards. I had to laugh.

Wow, Kora is moving fast with the home schooling. You have some bright little girls there!

Jeannie yes I agree with you totally. Now spring is here they can play outside longer. And they love when I sit with them when I dont ahve any cleaning to do.

Gayle It just seems my real dad has tricks that he wont share. LOL.. Sweet man though.

Kitem thank you. We are both trying and it can be hard sometimes.

Ortho then that survey didnt make it to my husband.. LOL.. I cant tell you what his IQ is but I know its above average.

Zombie I have missed you. Thanks. I try to be as honest as I can.

Lacreme hi there missed you too. I love chocolate. I bought the girls a bag of M&M and a Crunch bar for my self the other day.

Gardenia glad to hear you didnt find a chocolate bar. But they are nice to have as treats once in a while.

I don't think I would have enough energy to home school. It makes me tired just thinking about it.

ZF its not that bad. I rather enjoy it. We are just doing review now. She is at the easy age where she doesnt think she knows everything yet.
