TV and this new damned Digital.....

Hi all. I have a new veiw on TV in general. Jeff and I bought the first two seasons of The Hulk. You know the big green man that only came out when David Banner got angry or hurt... Or when someone else got got hurt...

Well my new view on TV is that why spend 140 dollars on TV each month when you can go buy the seasons on DVD and watch them with out commercials or for that matter watch them on the internet??? Go spend 140 dollars or so on the seasons and then go home and watch them or watch your favorite episode over and over again.. You wont have to wait for them to do a rerun on it..

We want to get the other three seasons of Hulk and then I want the full set of seasons of the Fragels for the girls but that is going to have to wait. And there are a few other shows I wouldnt mind having. I liked the Angel one. I can never remember the name of it.

I will miss watching the Football games each Sunday afternoons next year but you know what we may have cable or we may not. I dont care either way. I will miss watching my soaps but with me working I havent been able to keep up with my favorite two anyway lately. I think I have been up before 11 AM a handful of times since I started working now..

I dont mind changes but I just get fustrated with them..

Off the topic... I have made forty dollars at work from one co worker on those scarves I told you all about. I never did take photo's of them.. I should have but didnt and then I am making two more for another co worker for her twin sisters. I am done with those also. They are a hunter green and red mixed. They tured out nice.

I have also sold a few things I had for Ruth my African friend and and one scarf of mine I made. I sold the Ribbon scarf.. I just wish I could sell more of my stuff before x-mas. I have a whole bin full of stuff that needs to go before x-mas. Mostly big blankets. I understand how tight everyones budget is this year. We are making our trip home and then thats it for us for a long while again. I am going home to see my parents and then Tshsmom and family. My godmother and such. We are only going home for a few days but its going to be tight to see everyone.

Well HAPPY THANKSGIVING IF I FORGET. I MAY NOT MAKE IT BACK IN HERE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE HOLIDAY....I have to work tomorrow night into Thanksgiving and then we have Thanksgiving off.. And then back to the grind on Friday..

Well I am off to do a few things before I have to go to work at 8 PM... Have a wonderful day..

Oh one more thing before I leave you... It was like this when we went to bed on Sunday..

This is what it looked like waking up on Monday morning.. But not this deep.. I havent taken a photo of it outside yet. The snow is still there. I just need a photo of it.. LOL... But this is an idea of how it looked..

Ok now I am gone. Have a wonderful Holiday my friends..

We still have very basic cable TV and our son watches it more than anyone else. I watch a number of shows online when I feel like it. It's better that way as you say.

You don't need to hook up to cable. You just need a converter box for your TV, and you'll get the same free channels you've been getting. You can get a $40 off coupon from the gov't to help pay for your converter box.

Happy Thanksgiving! I love the girls' leaf picture...so sweet.

I like watching TV on DVD more than TV, too. I watched the first 2 seasons of Lost on DVD, and it was a bummer having to suffer through commercials with everybody else when season 3 started!

But I do love your girls playing in the dried leaves, and I would be scare of so much snow.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family.

We got our coupon for 40 off of a converter box, but then I realized that we don't need it because we have cable. For now, anyway.

I don't watch a lot of TV - Troll does, though.

Happy Holidays! As far as TV, you don't even need to buy anything. We watch them online, since we pay for internet anyway. I've been going to bed early lately, so online is the only way I can watch some shows.

We cut our services way back - I won't miss it - but "H" is the big TV watcher here. I bought my youngest daughter a 5 years $240 set of a series called LaFemme Nikita for $75.00!!!!! for Christmas. Once you watch a series from the DVD's - it really spoils you for commercials! I think these are times where we all are cutting back in everyway we can find! I am so glad gas is down for now!

The Packers are hard to watch right now. I hate to say it, but I'm having more fun watching the Jets. As you know, Brett Favre is my favorite player ever. I'm following both teams, but the Packers are painful to watch because they keep finding new ways to lose games.
