I love St. Vincent DePauls...

I went and got the girls some new used PJ's today..Here are the girls modeling there new Jammies... and of course me and the Kittah... Havent seen her in a long while...I paid 2.00 dollar a pair for them.... they are great... The nighty Brianna's wearing is torn on the back and the bottom on the trim but otherwise there is nothing wrong with them.. they needed more jammies and I had a few dolllars. i love going shopping there. I could spend almost all day there looking around even for my self.. I have bought clothes from there and still have them I believe... Its a great place and I have donated many things to them...












Now here is my kittah and mee...Kora loves taking pix.. She is acutally pretty good at it.. Ok here we go..





We bought me a 1994 Dodge Mini Van.. We want to Haul a few things this summer and we needed a car/truck that could do that... Jeff is slightly jealous. i wont let him have the van during the day. I have the boosters in the van now and I hate transfering them unless I have to.. It needs new tires but Jeff can get those for a discount at work.. Nice huh??? Its white and it has 168,000 miles on it.. Most of those are highway miles... We will have two nice highway cars when we get newe tires on the van.. That sounds funny sometimes yet..


Ok I need to go find some lunch and get the girls working on homework. I have to write out Kora's history questions and then help Bri with her reading. I make her read but she needs me right there to make sure she is reading the right words... I am hoping next year goes more smoothly than this year has... I need to get Kora writing more on things. I think I am going to do something and I will keep you all in the light of things as I do it..

One more thing the job is going great. The Boss really likes what I am doing and I have been doing little extra things that I wasnt asked to do.. I notice it needs being done so I do them.. I have messed up a few times but corrected myself and the Boss was very happy with that.... LOL... I am happy again.. I dont have anyone over my shoulder besides the boss...So it makes it easier and I have plenty of time to crochet and get my items up and going.. I dont have anything new right this minute. Sill working on some things...I have some new wash cloths coming up but I am working on the round ones.. wont tell you what I am doing with them... I want them to be a suprise...

Anyway I am really gone now.. Just thought you would like the update... N....

Tubing...

Hey all. We have gotten the girls into Tubing down a hill in our back yard.. But I dont have pix of it.. I was hoping some one could tell us where to find a good tube from where they arent using the pool tubes we use...LOL.. Yes I know another mark to put in The R Family memory book.. You should have seen Jeff and I last night...

Jeff went to help the girls last night because we had a bonfire and it was just beautiful out last night... It was an awsome night for a fire and the girls outside sliding down the hill on my pool tube.. Of course we put a hole in it but thank goodness for good ole duct tape...LOL....

Anyway I wish I would have had my camera outside with me because when Jeff went down this hill the first time he couldnt stop... The I went down and then we both went down together.. But I freaked out and I bailed off the tube and then he rolled about a foot after falling off with me...It was funny. For those of you who really know us I wish you could have been here to see it...

It was funny and just plain assed awsome to see us all out there playing in the snow.. This is what I promised the girls when I got my foot better..I promised them when my foot healed I/we would take them tubing or sledding.. But now they need sleds and tubes...

Anyway thought you all would like an update on whats going on here. Also here is my newest thing I made.. Its a wrap/shawl. Its going on Etsy soon. I am waiting to get a few more items finished to load up pix on it... Kora getting used to taking pix with my new camera. She chopped some of my head off with the first pix of just me.. What do you all think of that shawl/wrap with the black?? I think it looks snazzy... Well I need to get downstairs to spend some time with my family.. Just thought I would drop a line and let you all know we are still here somewhere and what i have been up to... this shawl/wrap will go for 45 dollars plus shipping on my Etsy account..

I have a video of 15 minutes of us bowling but it locks my damned computer up everytime I try to load it for some reason.. Any suggestions would be good...

I am fustrated today.. We were doing so well with Bri and her big book we bought her at the beginning of the year and she has gotten back into her ways of doing " I dont want to Read".... Then I read and she doesnt want to do the assignment.. I just threw her book on the floor and told her I quit.. I will listen to her but no more reading from mom.. I will do what needs being done with her but I am sick of her deciding what needs to be done...

I try not to get mad but sometimes my anger just over flows and I just want to quit it all.. I will not send them to the schools here. NO WAY IN HELL... Kora was picked on and none of the teachers did a thing. Its no different than when I was in school..

I have a new shawl coming out in Etsy or here.. I have like 60 granny squares to finish putting together... They are only 2 1/2 inches big apiece.. They are a night mare but they are beautiful... I took the pattern from one of my books but of course I couldnt find all the colors I needed so I improvised it to my own color scheme.. Turned out really pretty.. The colors are Caron colors, Grape, LimeGreen, Grey Heather, Blue Mint, Autumn Red,Watermelon Pink, and Pessimon.What ever that last one is...LOL... Never heard of it until I picked it up...

I finished Zombieslayers blanket and they have it already... I made Mrs Z a hat also.. Here are those..





I have also made a St Partricks Day Beanie Set... Didnt mean to do that but hey it happens. Turned out really nice. i meant to make it more for a kids size head but it turned out more for pre teen to adult size... Here is that set..

Th Maritime Museum Manitowoc WI

Here are some awsome photo's for those ship lovers out there.. We were going to Milwaukee yesterday because Jeff works Monday now and has Tuesdays off and then works Wednesday through Saturdays now.. Just untitl his hours pick back up.. But as we were driving it got really slippery yesterday. It was snowing and it just was yuckie... So we decided for the safety of the family we would turn around. We were going to go to the Zoo here but decided to do something different.. They have a Submarine outside of the building they do tours on. Well I got outside and on the deck but couldnt go any further.I handed my camera to Jeff and walked back inside. I freaked out.. I hate being in/on places I can see between the cracks.. If you take me fishing and I can see the water through the dock you wont get me on the dock.. I am the biggest chicken of all times.. But I took fifty some photo's yesterday with my new camera so I wont I post fifty photo's. That will get boring today.. I will post some of them.. I have to delete some anyway. they are way to blurry to post. I am still learning how to use the camera. the nice thing about it is that it has a museum mode where there is no flash but it takes awasome pix in the place..

Got a JOB...

Hey all. I have been talking about the perfect job for a while now.. Well I think I found it... I had an interview with Service Master here in Town the other day. He said he needed a few days to think. Well I called him back today and he chose me out of the three interviewee's he had last week.. Yayy mee.... I start on Feb 9th.. I will be working alone..

I am so excited I can barely type.. It doesnt interfere with my crocheting and my shop during the day and then working and then family time this time around.. I am so happy.. Only 15 hours a week for starters but he said if he likes what I am doing we can talk about adding another account to this one.. And getting more hours in. yayy me again. Well sorry for such a short post but I am off to finish cleaning.. N..
