It's all about showing the company the largest profit possible. That's how they keep their jobs and yes... it sucks big time. I've worked many jobs over the years and have found the larger the company or corporation is, the worse it gets. It's a rare boss who actually cares about you. You're a "tool" they use to make money. A very unpleasant part of life but one we have to live with. I doubt talking to your supervisor will change the way they operate. I wouldn't suggest it. I don't know your supervisor or the manager, but my guess is if you complain he or she may start looking around for a reason to get rid of you. That's also something I've seen way too often.
